The purpose of the RKTK-foundation is to promote commercial and technical education and research, as well as economic awareness in the Rauma economic region. To achieve its purpose, the foundation awards scholarships and grants, and supports equipment acquisitions, research and business collaboration projects. Awareness activities are carried out by organizing training and seminars in cooperation with educational institutions and organizations representing the business community.
The foundation annually awards scholarships and grants to teachers and students in the fields of commerce and technology.
Representatives of educational institutions can apply for grants to promote commercial and technical education, as well as business collaboration. The teaching staff at SAMK and WinNova independently select the outstanding students who will receive student scholarships. Additionally, research grants can be applied for from the foundation. These grants are awarded for research in the fields of commerce and technology that benefits the business community in the Rauma region.
